Privacy statement
PTL Studios is a trading name of Millworks Christchurch Limited. This statement explains what personal information we collect and what we do with it. Last updated 5 October 2026.
What we collect
- What you send us through the contact form: your name, email address, phone number, what you're interested in and your message.
- Your email address (and, if you choose, your name and business) when you ask for our brochure, and whether you'd like to hear when a studio comes up.
- What you give us when you book a tour or a meeting room.
- What you tell us by email or phone.
- If you become a member: the details we need for your agreement, access and invoices.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, arrange tours and bookings, and, if you become a member, to manage your membership, access and invoices. We don't sell your information or use it for anything else.
Who else handles it
We use these services to run PTL Studios. Some of them store information outside New Zealand.
- Netlify hosts this website and passes contact form messages to us.
- Calendly handles tour bookings.
- Deskie handles meeting room bookings and member accounts.
- Google Workspace handles our email.
- Xero handles invoices for members.
- Google Analytics counts visits, if you agree to it.
Cookies and analytics
If you tap OK on the cookie bar, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and buttons people use. It sets cookies and sends Google your IP address and browser details. We've turned off Google's advertising features, and we never send it your name, email address or anything you type into a form. If you tap No thanks, nothing is loaded.
You can change your mind at any time with "Cookie choice" at the bottom of every page. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your request. We keep member records for as long as the law requires, for example seven years for tax records.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Email hello@ptlstudios.co.nz.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, tell us first. If we can't sort it out, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
